Course Overview

Prerequisites: Applying SysML with MagicDraw

Required Software: No Magic’s MagicDraw (version 2022x+) with the SysML and Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) plugins or equivalent No Magic or Dassault Systèmes CATIA Magic products.

Course Description: Using a combination of lectures, demos, and interactive labs, this course showcases the foundations for building and maintaining an Enterprise Architecture (EA) utilizing the Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) version 1.2. Students will learn each aspect and viewpoint within UAF 1.2 and will learn how to build the requisite views within the Cameo tool suite. This course focuses on the differing fundamental principles between EA and MBSE and teaches students how to integrate these distinct disciplines.

Take-Aways: Foundational understanding of building and maintaining an Enterprise Architecture in the UAF.​
